BACKGROUND AND EXPERTISE

After earning his bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, Galen moved to Buena Vista using his degree in the outdoor education field. With a passion for how things work, and a fascination for how small changes can have monumental impacts, Galen approaches setting tile with the same academic fervor he used to earn his degree. Galen got into the construction industry as an apprentice, underneath a long established general contractor, learning from the ground up from footer forms all the way to crown trim. These days Galen focuses only on tile installations, leveraging his understanding of the whole home to create beautiful and functional spaces.

Combining the integrity of quality prep, and aesthetic of precise layout and spacing, he can both fill his internal need to build structure, and create beauty.
